Idle control high? Got this message after driving home. Idle control motor or what? I would hate to think it’s the manifold leaking.

Changed the idle control... check engine came back same code... sprayed starter fluid around trying to find a vacuum leak nothing. Only thing is around the intake the rubber air intake is semi loose.. is it supposed to just sit o. Top or is there a fast er supposed to be there. Also took shots of code

Manifold leak and fuel injectors bad... was compensating off the charts. No bueno.. what was once a steal is no longer..

That’s definitely no bueno, but it isn’t a huge deal either- provided there is not a milkshake in your crankcase. You can get the steel fel pro gaskets and a BWD updated spider both for under $300 at advance with the 25% coupon code. The BWD is literally the same exact assembly as the Delco/Delphi unit, but in a different box.

For $300 and a Saturday, you could have a very good running truck. There are tons of write ups and YouTube tutorials, it’s a pretty simple repair with basic tools.

Update [emoji3]. Took it to my mechanic. Took a quick look yesterday with computer. Called me today and just needed adjustment to the throttle wire. Someone tampered with it previously. Also needs a clamp on intake. Over
