I have a dome/map light set up with the adjustable map lights I want to put in my ext cab......the tahoe light fixture had 3 wires and my stock dome light has 2 wires......is there anyway to put it in and make it work....I think would be an awesome mod

Does your existing light have a switch so you can turn the light on with the doors closed? If not, it likely only has 2 wires because it is switched power and ground. The Suburban one has a switched power for the dome, ground, and constant power for the map lights. You'd have to get it constant power for the map lights to work properly.

I'm trying to do this same swap and not sure how to go about wiring the three wire Suburban light into my 2-wire Silverado. Can someone please provide a simple diagram or a detailed description of to properly do this?

Thank you for any advice.
