Sharp looking Tahoe! No answer to your tie rod question, but I would like to know where you got that hood, that is a beautiful hood!
Thanks, i got it from LMC it came with just plain black plastic inserts in the 4 openings of the scoop, so what i did was ordered some chrome diamond mesh sheet ,cut out plastic and installed the chrome mesh, I also pit the same chrome mesh in the Front bumper where the 2 cold air intake openings are

I just wonder if the tie rods are the weak link on purpose, so they break first instead of bending/ breaking something more important/ expensive

Proforged makes some real quality steering components. I ran their stuff on my 96 impala SS with great success, the owner of the company was really active on that forum.

I really like the solid tie-rod end sleeves they make.

p.s. I also have a full steering rebuild kit for sale in the classified section :deal:

You are misinformed. They do make a full line of products for the GMT 400

I have Proforged on my GMT400 and other trucks. I highly recommend them.

Buddy- that is awesome! Whose seat covers, and how much was the cost for those and the covering of the center console? Same for top console? Need to have that stuff done on my 96 and trying to get an idea of costs- again, really well done pal
