I've been driving the truck some, and tinkering with small stuff. Added a heavy duty headlight harness, and high beam override setup. Next up.. new stereo. Adding a double DIN dash setup. Adding bluetooth, satellite radio, apple carplay, backup camera, etc.

Stereo is in! Sony XAV-AX1000 adding Bluetooth, SiriusXM, and backup camera to the old truck. All the components and radio came from Crutchfield I added a Metra Electronics Corp. double DIN kit to complete the install. I had the guys at Ronnies Electronics Auto Land install an alarm

Time to address those mirrors... Updating to power mirrors, including updated switch covers inside.

Power mirrors done! Went with later model style mirrors. Also added Blazer/Yukon switch panels.. which were a PITA with the aftermarket door panels, but the results were worth it.

I've been putting some miles on the truck, working out minor bugs and continuing installs on small upgrades. Added a Borgeson steering shaft a few weeks back. Love the difference in the steering feel.
I added a new Pendaliner bed liner this weekend. I'll grab some pictures soon.

Sometimes, bigger is not better Upgraded the truck to a new AC Delco gear reduction starter and battery cables.

Project is moving along nicely. Put over a 1000 miles on the truck over the last few weeks, working out small bugs and gremlins.
I am amazed at how much I enjoy the high torque starter If you haven't done this yet.. get'r'done You won't regret it.
Ended up removing the Ridetech rear sway-bar. With the leaf springs, the truck seems to handle just as good without it. Plan is to go with a bigger front bar eventually.
Currently wiring up a compass/temperature/auto-dim rearview mirror. I'll get some pictures once I have it sorted out.
