I got new wheels and tires installed yesterday. 16x8 Pro Comp 1069's with Cooper Discoverer A/T3 tires in a 265/75.....

It's amazing how a decent set of wheels and tires will make a vehicle look worlds different.....

HUGE improvement over the rusty stock wheels and crap tires; I couldn't be happier with the result. I think this setup looks perfect on a stock height 4x4. Surprisingly, I needed to trim the valence under the bumper (about 3/4" on each side) because it was rubbing on turns. The wheels need polished (bought them used) but they will clean up really nice.

I have an old Pioneer head unit and four new speakers I'll be installing today. At this point I'm very satisfied with the truck. I want to add headers and a dual exhaust in the spring, and I might get the windows tinted. That's the only plans I have for the near future.

Any plans for the Silverado grille or are you sticking with the Cheyenne setup?

I really like the way the Cheyenne grille looks on this particular truck, and I don't plan on changing it. However, I do have everything needed to swap to a Silverado grille if I ever change my mind.

Not much new to report. I bought a low profile toolbox for it tonight, which I'll be installing tomorrow. It's pretty much essential when you have a regular cab. I still plan on getting the windows tinted eventually, but other than that I don't have any plans besides just driving it and trying to keep it clean. I've been driving it every day since the beginning of fall. Over 81k miles on it now. The rust on the body is getting more noticeable. Damn salt.

There are a couple little things that need attention. The rear brakes need cleaned/adjusted, the driver's rear wheel cylinder is leaking fluid, and now there's an oil leak somewhere that I haven't bothered to try and track down. Been way too cold to mess around with stuff like that. It's a shame, this truck didn't leak a drop of fluid before this winter, and now it's leaving oil spots whenever I park.

One thing's for sure, this truck is a fantastic winter beater. Got some heavy snow and this thing didn't skip a beat. I've pulled folks out of ditches twice now. And the heater works excellent!

What is the offset/backspacing on your rims? Debating on Pro Comps or AR Baja's. Sorry to rehash thread after almost a year.

What does your truck look like from the front? It looks like those rims make it look like a 3/4 ton. Sorry to bother you with all of these questions about rims, lol.
