OK. I've been to Pismo Beach, Dumont, Coos Bay, Sand Mountain, Little Sahara, St Anthony - but haven't been to Glamis yet. Someday... :)

A little late to the party; but what gaskets did you go with? I've had the intake gaskets done twice in my truck, first when I had new injectors put in which were Fel-Pro, second when the first set of gaskets had a weak spot in it.
The second set were metal core Victor Reinz/Mahle gaskets; I didn't think they offered any metal core ones for the 7.4s but a little bit of googling and a few suggestions from my mechanic and I found them.

i went with the plastic fel=pro set for the lower intake, the old ones that came out were failing in multiple places , mostly at the cooling passages, hope they last a decade or more, but now that ive done the project once i could do it again alot faster if i had to knowing whats involved
