I trying to unscramble wire mess from previous owner. Is this factory and for what use?

That wrapping is definitely factory just don’t know if that’s for options and if so which. I have a 2dr barn door tahoe

Mine (98 two door) has one spare connector like that. Not sure what it’s for or if it even has power to it.

Probably for rear wiper button that your truck wasn't optioned with.

I have the suburban and those are factory plugs but can’t tell you which ones my truck uses. But in the area next to instrument panel, there’s rear wiper, hatch release, and then next one is one of two things...could be plug for fog light switch or rear blower control. Hope that answers your question.

The one for the fog light may have to be rewired to work for dogs. I tried on mine and it’s actually wired to run the rear a/c for some odd reason.
