Currently trying to figure out why heats not working . No power to controls . This plug goes no place . 1991 gmc sierra 305 5 speed .

Are both heater hoses at the firewall hot and about the same temperature?
Is the temperature door actuator plugged in? Not sure what’s around it on the 88-94, but on the 95+ it’s just to the left of the glovebox...#3 below.
There’s a silver notched dial on it that rotates as the door is positioned by the control panel. Does yours rotate?
