Anyone use em? Did a Google search of forum n saw someone said to use the drop spindles too to get good 4 inch drop. I picked em up brand new super cheap. Djm brand.

Edit to add to question so I don't get replies mixed up too much.

I'm gonna convert to 6 lug. Are spindles the same for 1/2 and 3/4 LD? If so i can use the regular drop spindles n throw on 6 lug rotors correct? Wanted to actually do the Astro van 6 lug swap for factory dual piston and wider track but they don't make drop spindles for that. I could do 2 inch springs to get that but I read on here it's better to use drop spindles with the drop arms. Any info or knowledge is appreciated.

I have dj upper and lower control arms and I like them. Spindles are the same, to convert front to 6 lug just go to the parts store and buy 2wd 2500 LD rotors. Rear is less fun.

Does anybody have an opinion on McGaughys spindles? Can you run 15 inch wheels with them? Without grinding off the drip rails off a brand new set of lower control arms?

That's a big no, my friend. But it's not a big deal to trim those ends off of the arms. Use a cutoff wheel and smooth it off with a grinder. You'll never know it was done and it won't compromise the structural integrity. Or.... bigger wheels. Lol
