Got my boat to the yard today. Truck squatted real bad even with air shocks in the rear. If I had motors and drives in the boat, it would have been alot better. Only had to go down the road from my house so it was not far at all. The burb is not going to become my tow rig, so i will probably be on the hunt for a dually next spring to add to my fleet.

Truck hated it...thankfully she made it the 4 miles I had to go. Sketchy also as I did not have a valid license plate on the trailer. Sometimes you just gotta say *** it and take a chance.

It was a little warmer the other day, so I was able to break out the power washer and clean the truck. I have done anything crazy mod wise recently, except for driving it and enjoying it :) Although I will probaly buy a new set of A/T tires in the next few weeks, since winter is coming.

Fuel pump went out, and I am in the process of installing it as I type. I decided to play it safe and also replace the tank, so everything is brand new. Had to replace the vent valves also, as they snapped when removing the hose.

Lol you might want to think of putting a load leveling hitch on that boat if you happen to need to tow with the Suburban on long trips... say, like 5 miles or so ;)

Love your truck by the way. My 1999 K1500 Suburban has made a reliable family hauler while I've rebuilt the top engine and front suspension on my other 1999 Suburban family hauler.

Solved the problem by pickin up that 2500 you see in the garage :) I have a feeling it will tow better but we shall see.

Update on the fuel pump, im hearing it kick on but the truck is just cranking but wont turn over. I switched the fuel pump relay from the black truck to this one and still nothing. I don't have time to work on it during the week, so she's gonna have to be towed to the shop :p

Whoops, didnt' notice the 2500. I'm betting it will do the trick nicely, and even still, a load dist. hitch will make it ride a lot nicer, especially since that's a multi-axle trailer. At least, for longer hauls.

As for the no-crank.... I went through this last weekend and solved it today, albeit it was after a cylinder head swap and not a fuel pump. In my case, bonehead (me) had the distributor 180 out despite being "real damn careful" not to do that.

I'm assuming your next step will be to check fuel pressure, looking forward to seeing what the solution here is.

If you go with a 265/70, it won't throw the speedo off. That size actually brings mine as close as I can get to perfect with my GPS. The factory 245 size reads incorrect.

I'm waiting to hear more on the 2500, how's that one coming along?
