So i searched and did't find what I was looking for. My 95 has a factory block heater that i have never used and by looking at the plug it looks like it has never been used. Ive never really paid much attention on 2 other trucks that had them but when plugged in this one sounds like it sizzles. Is this normal? It doesn't get extremely cold here but im tired of having to have the truck run for 20 plus minutes to get enough heat to clear the frost off the windshield. I replaced the heater core last weekend and that helped but it still takes for ever to warm up.
