whats the best way to make 330ish hp...

ok this is my 4th rcsb 1990... 3 were gmc... all 5.7 350 700r4 3.73 rears and one 93 5.7 4l60e 3.08
all have been lowered 4/6 all have had engine work.. well except the 93 rebuilt the wiring harness got it running and sold it...
ive gone as far as i could 2 times with the stock stroke heads and factory fuel systems...
never was happy with the tuning on either of them...
they made somewhere around the 260 mark

so started building this truck for my dad who decided he wanted a brand new truck instead...
wish id of known that before i put a factory new tbi engine in it... under the hood is all stock...
fresh built transmission... 3.42 gears and am putting an auburn pro lsd in it
has a crossover back 3 inch exhaust, 50k coil, walbro gss242 pump hooked to a vortec sender...
so have enough fuel for a little over 400hp no mater the intake i decide to go with
oh and it has a jet stage one chip lol

the injection is my dilemma

ok... this is what id like out of it...

dailly driver... 87 octane... its getting 16 around town right now would like to keep it there
but i do like to play from time to time so want top end out of it 5500rpm if possible
somewhere between 300 and 350hp would be ideal
but above all else, once its set... I NEVER WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT AGAIN... factory reliable

so what would be the best way to go... stand alone (fitech sniper pro-flo).. modified factory (dynamic efi, 46mm tb 16-18psi fp, what type of intake)
whats the deal with 3 wire o2
if i eliminate the stock tb what other sensors do i need to retain for tcc and cruise.. know i need tps vss

oh also... there are no vehicle inspections here at all...

Have you checked out Harris performance? Great stuff about souping up TBI to work with heads/cam.

You just **** blocked yourself with that statement. I am not working with or have the systems in question, but I have worked with, owned, and have a lot of experience with some of that. But since you are limiting yourself to current working knowledge, I'll just keep to myself.

Hahaha, I just don't like his sentiment.

the intent was to get people with real world experience to give opinions on products the have spent real world time with...
but i forgot.. its the internet so my apologies to the twisted panties...
ive tied reading through many other threads and come across a lot of people bashing things they have never even seen...
forget about having any experience with the product at all...
and why is it wrong to ask for experienced individuals advise guess i could have said

please respond if you have had any personal experience with these devices...

if you don't want anybody to give input that doesn't have those exact model number parts how will you ever find out if there is a well known bulletproof combo?

not really worried about the heads cam.. more intake injection. maintaining cruise.. ive had bad luck with modding the oe tbi system and by the time its all said and done spent about as much as a full stand alone unit... i gave the different head numbers to say that what ever intake efi type would work best id go with the appropriate head...
no need to say ive never burnt my own tunes.. and it seems the more i read on tuning tbi the less i know a lot of info out there sounds really good but you read the next article forum ect and it contradicts everything you just thought you learned... the people that do dynamic seem to constantly be tuning... i know it isnt as easy as one and done tuning anything.. but dont want to be constantly having to change things...

i like the idea of stand alone efi ive heard they can be touchy on the intake ive read add a carb spacer or mill the devide on a dual plane... run a single plane but nothing steady... other say those were just set up wrong in the first place... also some say you can add a service lead and use the tps to run factory computer for trans some say you cant from what i understand cruise only needs the vss signal tcc needs tach, tps temp and vss

ive used the lunati cam and dart heads on a 9/1 355 with an edelbrock eps manifold and 650 carb... was a nice little motor want that with efi whether it be oe or stand alone efi not sure yet

and i put the vortec heads in because they seem to be all the rage right now and are 400 less than the iron eagles

oe tbi can it go to 5500rpm ie... harris performance says no 5k is the limit, others say over 6k... as i said everything i read cancels out everything else i read... seems like everything is hearsay... why i was looking for personal experience didnt mean to offend anyone
