Does the wiring run across under the headliner or do you have to fish it threw a chamber between the roof and cab ceiling?

You have to fish it between the inner/outer layer of roof. In my 98 there was a OEM hole in the inner layer of roof skin close to the driver side sunvisor hole. That is where the harness exits into the inner cab and then down the a-pillar.

Bought my kit & fixin to get started. Dropped headliner & it has a 2 piece roof maybe?? Did yall drill all the way thru both or just one part then fished the wires thru?

the main harness is clipped to the interior side of the roof. ie: the small single hole near the Velcro. its the holes that are used for the sunvisor & rearview mirror harness. the circle hole next to the square hole is for a c-clip to mount an overhead console.
As far as drilling holes for mounting the lights & passing the sockets, that I cant answer.
if I make it back to the j/y tomorrow, i'll get you a pic as they have a couple of trucks w/ cab lights.

Seems to be centered, go for it. And gotta say, this is an interesting look on the obs, hugely intriqued on how it turns out and looks when on :hmm:

Everyone has the obs. Ive always been a fan of the gmt800 setup. The gmt900 is hideous. Basicaly i went 5” back on both sides, made that my center line for the side 2, then in center thats the line for the back of cluster; so its not exactly straight across, kinda forward about 1 1/2 “
