I'm sure everyone here is familiar with how short-lived the pitman and idler arms can be on these trucks. My truck in particular is a '89 Silverado, 2WD, 5.7L.
Wanted to share some comparison pictures between the regular parts to the MOOG Super-Duty Idler Arm (#K6483T) and the Heavy-Duty Pitman Arm (#K6335) I recently installed on my truck. As you can see, the bearings are much larger than the normal ones.
So far, very pleased with how the steering in the truck feels. It feels really solid, even firmer, with nearly no slop at all. Went from having play in the steering wheel from 11-1 (like a clock) to barely anything at all.
