Ordered the fittings, hose and gauge. Maybe monday ill be able to get the pressure readings.

I also have another 80e i can throw in there to ride on. I put a bunch of miles on it in my other turbo truck so i know it was good when i parked it.

Oh wow. Never seen that before. You have one fail or just noticed it one day?
That looks similar to Eaton aeroquip style hose. I'll have to go check all the ends on my stuff.

Totally spaced on a reply. Sorry.

I noticed that line was splitting and shrinking, went and looked at everything else and found quite a few others doing the same, unfortunately.

Well.
Alot has happened.
I'll see what kinda pics I have and upload them tomorrow when I have some service.
I did hit a dang deer last night in it. So bent bumper, fender bent, grill cracked, and turn signal light bracket broken....

But so far I've put about 1000 miles on this last transmission with no issues.
I just drive it to work tho. Still have wastegate issues.
Haven't had time to mess with it to work out the issues.

My last transmission was put together with a older year pump.

Doing this Means no fluid flow to cooler... but everything else works fine.

Fluid from cooler is returned to the rear of this newer case which lubes/cools the rear of the trans.

Forgot to update.

Truck weighed 4100# on my buddy's 18 wheeler scales. I was expecting it to be in the high 3's so close enough.

Weird, my 88 C1500 weighed 41XX and it was a long box 5.7 700R4. I always thought a 2wd stepside would be a hair under 4000#.

Well it might have been. But the large turbo, sch 40 log manifold, intercooler, 4L80E, 4" stainless exhaust, tool box, and Caltracs. It all adds up.
I'm good with it.
Not much else to remove for weight reduction.
