Get a regular hose barb for your heater hose. There is no reason for an owner to use the quick mis-connect... it's only so it takes GM less time on the line to install. They leak, they break off, and the replacement hose is expensive.

I'd recommend getting brass, but they can be more difficult to find. I'd also use a spring clamp if you have oner and not a worm drive. I admit I actually have a worm drive clamp, but next time it comes apart it will get a spring clamp... they keep constant pressure and can't be under or over tightened.

It runs!

I still need to weld the exhaust on, but did the 1st heat cycle yesterday. It always feels good to hear something run again, after having so much stuff apart. :)
