Newbie here, does anyone know of anyone that makes headers for a 1992 3500hd with a 454, there's plenty out there for the Standard 3500.

Is there a clearance issue? Any reason why any BBC headers wouldn't work? I would think that straight axle gives you plenty of room. I've not looked under the hood on one in person, However.

The only thing I see that could be an issue is the Sway Bar mounts on the frame. They'e good sized, and right in the area where the tubes come down.

Yep, I ran into clearance issues with the sway bar when I did a swap from 6.5td -> Vortec 7.4 in my '94 HD. I used the stock 7.4 exhaust from the 3500 donor truck and had to chop it up because it wanted to hit the sway bar, with it being in an unusual spot behind the beam axle vs. up front on the lighter IFS trucks.
Steve, you could try asking over at 3500hd.com but I don't think I've seen anybody talking about headers over there. It's an HD-specific board (though all dually owners are welcome) that is quite sleepy since it fits such a small niche of users, but the members are very friendly and helpful.
