I looked at the four bark link. Does that require bags?

No, not all of them. Some do. I think the one I linked to can be set up either way and requires shock mount tabs or bag mounts. There are not many direct fit options for the gmt400. S&W makes a complete back half, there was another but cant remember who made it.

I have noticed there doesn't seem to be a lot of options also. But a four link with some kind of coil over set up is what I would like. I've never been a fan of bags. So an adjustable coilover setup would be pretty cool.

Yeah, I was looking at that one. I used to live near S&W years back in PA and know of a few guys running their frames with good feed back. To me, it looks daunting... I never attempted something like this before. I should call them on the frame tie in process, maybe get some advice on set-up, keeping it straight etc... I recently purchased a fuel cell and plumbing to facilitate a 4-link set up. Also, I do okay with my welding skills but dont think welds that are OK meet the need here...

Yeah, it would be totally new territory for me too. But my dad is a mechanic 25+ years and he's a pretty good welder. So we would definitely tag team. I'm guessing you would still want a notch with this setup? I think you should go for it. You already have money invested in some of the auxiliary stuff.

Yeah. I'm going 4-link one way or another this winter. The Chassiworks set up would be a much easier way to go. I was wondering if they could be flipped (R to L) and moved to the inside frame rail. That way it could accommodate narrowing the rear at some point if I decided to do so. The S&W set up is ready to rock 'n roll with what ever you decide and is a complete - matched component kit...
