700r4 in place of 4l60e

I am going to look at a 95 k1500 350 tbi 4l60e trans.
So I have a new rebuilt 700r4 in storage. Can I replace the 4l60e out of the 95 with out messing up the ecu.

It's going to set codes because the PCM can't talk to the 700R4. I'm sure it would be possible to make it work, but you'd probably spend more money adapting everything than you would just rebuilding or replacing the 4L60E.

Just need to get a new chip with the electronic trans turned off etc.

Seems to me a manual trans computer would work too.
