Everything you need is in this thread. No suspension lift is “easy”, but with proper planning and reading the directions and the information detailed in this thread, it is doable in a hole garage. Allow a full weekend, or maybe two, to do the lift. Highly recommended to replace bushings and front end suspension items at the same time, you really don’t want to tear it all back apart again later.
Question for you I am trying to crank my front end up to 5 inches but the left side won't crank up as much as the right side are my torsion bars warn out?

Possibly. You may try unloading them and rotating the bar a position or two. I marked mine prior to removal to minimize that potential.

Mine rides well on pavement. On some washboarded roads and rough oil and chip roads, it’s a bit rough. I have the bilstein installed, but haven’t done cab bushings yet. Also, I put heavier springs in the back, so that’s also likely not helping. Compared to my GMC Acadia..it is significantly tougher, but it is a lifted truck.

So I'm sure this has been talked about but I cant find anything on it. Has anyone had problems with the CV axles not fitting with the 6" lift? For the life of me I cant get them back in. They seem to long. I've tried every way I can think of to get them back in with no luck. It comes with drop brackets for the diff... it seems since the diff has been dropped down that the CV axles are to long. I know this changes the geometry of things, and I'm 100% that I've got the kit installed correctly. Is there another size cv?? I have a 1990 gmc. Tubular upper a arm with rivet in upper and lower ball joints. Everything on these trucks are pretty much the same. Idk any help and advice would be greatly appreciated!

Welp I have no idea what I was doing wrong, went back out and in 5 minutes i got one side in I've done cv's before and never had a problem! I guess the moon and the stars weren't aligned right earlier.

I am working on installing the 4" lift on my 88 K1500, I am getting the lower c-arm drop brackets in place, however I am noticing that after grinding the bump stop off, the drop bracket will not sit flush with the frame, looks like I need to grind down a portion of the shock mount, wondering if any of you guys had to do this for your drop brackets, I've included a photo to show what I am referring to, thank you!
