That 8100 would be a beast in that truck! It looks really well taken care of. And noticed it had the same rims as yours, lol.

In today’s society, it seems like “dirty” is better. I like a nice, clean truck, thank you very much. Even if it’s a work truck. I guess it’s too much of a “stretch” to “clean.” Or else they’ve never heard the word “clean” before.

But yes, I especially “love” the people who get your hopes up and never get back to you. Gotta love tire kickers.

At a minimum, I hit the local automated wash and then hit the carpet and mats with the vacuum every week or 2 at the most. If I go off road to the gun range or the fishing holes, I hit the wash right after, I don't let it sit on my truck. Every couple of weeks, I take some 303 Aerospace to the plastics... It's amazing what some minimum effort will do to keep your stuff looking good. As a buyer, I would never buy a truck that has photos of it covered in mud like it has been diving into holes, or overall dirty and un-kept. Just tells me that the owner is not someone I trust to be my PO. That's just me.

Of course, it's totally OK to get your truck dirty and do work. But I would rather buy from someone who shares the same ideology as me when it comes to presenting your vehicle for sale. The guy I bought my truck from failed a few of my usual pet peeves, but it was such a good deal I still went with it. He didn't tell me about the ignition switch going bad, so the first time I turned the key and nothing happened, he was like "Oh, yah, that's a thing... it will start, you just have to jimmy it around..." :banghead:

That, and the gas gauge was flat-lined on E...

Before I sell a vehicle, it get's a full detail, everything works (or I am upfront about what doesn't work), and the tank is full.

Once some people decide they don't want/need something they will put as little effort into something as possible, including the sale. It's like they just want someone to magically show up and hand them money while they sit on their couch.

Then I think there are people that are blinded by the fact they they know what they are selling because they see it every day, but don't understand that they need to show it to buyers. So they post a terrible picture and think nothing of it.... they "see" the truck because they know the truck, and expect buyers to do the same.

I worked with a guy who was a used car salesman at one time. He said this, about becoming a good salesman. Take a dollor out of you pocket, and try to sale it for .75 cents. No one wants it. There must be something wrong with it. Why just .75 cents. Then take that same dollor, and make a poker hand with the serial number. Then say hay look, I have a rear dollor. It has 4,,,8s in it. not many dollora have 4,,,8s. Hey tell you what, I let you have it for @1.25 and people will buy as many as you want to sale. You have to put on a good show if you want ro make money.

This camper is for sale at one of the campgrounds my family takes trips to; all I got to say about this camper is it's gonna need a deep clean to get the smell of dogs out of it.
The campground owner was asking 15K for it when I looked at it, personally I think the price is still a bit high due to the condition of the camper. It wasn't beat down but it wasn't in amazing shape either.

I'm in love with this truck, even though it's pretty much useless to me.

I was just looking around at random stuff and that add happened to pop up.
Not bad prices, I like the truck campers; there's a shitload of them around here in people's backyards, sheds, and barns. I was looking at a slide in pop up for a while; but now I'm thinking of doing an enclosed trailer with a slight camper conversion.
