I've got AC Delco cap, rotor, and plugs, and Napa/Belden plug wires on my 96 454. Runs like a champ.
I've heard tons of good things about BWD ignition components as well; it all comes from the same plants any how. It's just a matter of the brand's quality control.
I've got bwd coilpacks on my s10, they've been on there for 4 years or so without any problems.

AC-Delco doesn't MAKE anything any more. They're a sales organization, not a manufacturing organization. They sell whatever their subcontractors provide.

Standard used to be among the best aftermarket parts. Now they offshore too much stuff.

Far as I know, Standard and BWD are owned by the same parent company.

I would look for the "Made In USA" tag on the packaging, and buy whichever brand has that label. If none of them do, Standard, Delco, BWD, Echlin...all about the same quality.

Some folks are really hot for Wells. I always thought of them as a "second" line, but that was before everyone was just reboxing the same parts.

Wells/airtex air some of the cheaper parts you can find on rockauto. I wonder if they're a bargain or a problem waiting to happen.

I couldn't find anything on the web site that confirmed their product was made in USA. Where are you seeing this?

I don't believe they are a manufacturer. They look more like a distributor of their own private label, made by other companies.

I get the sense that they assemble spark plug wires using material purchased from other companies--Packard wire, someone's metal ends and silicone boots.

I bet the tune-up parts are just reboxed with no manufacturing labor at all.

Done right, this could still be quality product. It all depends on who their source(s) are.

NOBODY goes to China to get quality product. They go to China to get cheap product so they can sell at high profit margins. That's why I look for USA, North American, or Free World country-of-origin info on the box.

God Bless Trump for FINALLY putting tariffs on Communist Crap.

Agreed, but I suspect there source is probably Standard Motor Products, as they have a lot of US made stuff, but are typically bypassed as not being as good as OEM. I would buy their stuff, if Delphi/ACdelco wasn't available..... and I actually have in the case of my Hayden fan clutch. I have a Murry/Oreilly ICM that's US made, and I wonder if it's a SMP product.... I've had to warranty it once already.
