Not surprised at your light quality. My Anzo headlights are some kind of chinese garbage. They didn't even repackage them into Anzo boxes. I tried countless times to contact Anzo about the poor quality and fit & finish and they were completely unresponsive.

Thats sad. I ordered mine from rockauto, so its bot like they came from some unknown Amazon seller. I more and more think Im gonna Wait until someone i know travels to the us and order some spyder projector lights that they Could bring home for me. Would svar me half the price in shipping and vat!!

Same broken corners happened to me when I installed the Anzo parking lights. You can do a warranty replacement (12 months on Anzo lights).
Thats an excellent tip! Maybe ill drop rockauto a line and hear what they say! Thanks a lot!

That's how I returned mine. If you lookup your order, there is a link for warranty returns.

Most of the aftermarket parking lights are designed like that; terrible design like mentioned above. My LED ones are the same. You have to be super careful when putting the screws in and don't overtighten them.

So, I´ve had an intensive 4 days in the workshop this weekend! Some very kind guys have let me use their garage/workshop for some days, and I have been able to deal with a lot!

I started off with getting rid of my big worry - the lug nut. I had to cut it off with an angel grinder, but off it went!

I´ve never removed the caliper before, so that was an excitement. Note to self: I really, really, really need to own a 9mm umbraco bit!

Luckily, I found a usable one and were able to knock it off with a hammer. I was afraid I´d have to remove the entire wheel base, but then I discovered to my joy that I could actually hammer the lug bolts out trough a hole behind the caliper! Good times!

I used an umbraco to stop the wheel base from turning while I tightened the bolts. Job Done! Great!

Then I had a peek behind the wheel, and saw where work really was:

Might as well get to those cables while I´m here and have the wheel off anyway..

How does just your inner parking light bulbs light up? Is it what the European trucks did? And I think you have a K2500 (8 lug), not a K1500 (6 lug). :D ;) Looks like a nice truck you have there! Can't wait to see what you plan to do with it!

All diesel 1500 suburbans that I've seen are 8 lug.

When they were finally done with the truck, I had a friend of mine help me change the door hinge pins on the front doors.
The drives door was a breeze. It´s probably been changed before. Passenger side door was a pain in the ass, but eventually I got there. When I ordered the pins, I had totally missed that I should probably have a special tool for the springs in the doors. Oops! Luckily, one of 1aauto.com´s youtube videos showed me their cable tie trick, so I got both the pins and the springs installed by the end of the evening! Yey! :)

To me it looks like the hinge pin you installed isn't drivin down all the way. The knurled part under the head should be into the hinge.

Nice project must be tough dealing with overseas parts.
