my k2500 has the hardest suspension ever. I know it’s a heavy duty truck but every single road in the town I live in is like a meteor shower put craters down them. It’s miserable. I can drive 3mph and not get anywhere but then that’s not something I can do. However I’m sick of hitting every canyon in the road and I feel every bolt loosen and back out while I hear 23 welds crack. What am I to do and keep the payload ability. I have the bed filled with a 1400 lbs skid atm. And even that weight doesn’t help.

change to softer shocks. Ranchero RS 9000 (IIRC) are adjustable from level 1-9 with the turn of a knob. I have them on the front of my truck and I highly recomend them! however after one winter you cannot adjust them anymore so get the ride you like and plan to leave them there.

I don’t know if they’re even cranked. I just bought the truck recently. And no 45 psi

Does the rear end sit higher than the front? If not, then they've probably been cranked up. Which severely impacts ride quality.

My profile pic is old truck with body lift. New truck is factory ride height. OE Texas Tilt still equipped. Lmao. No they aren’t cranked.

I saw on google a combination of 4-link, air ride, and gas shocks allowed for very comfortable yet workable suspension.

You could also remove a few leafs from your leaf packs and make up the difference with some helper air springs.
