Trying to get this dumb door to line up, and I’m at an impasse.

Replaced the hinges/roller/springs etc ... adjusted the striker ... which fixed the slight sag I was having, but now I’m seeing the door is closing well, however the top is warped? in and the bottom looks bowed? out.

Has anyone ran into this and how did you address it? And yes I did search before posting and couldn’t find anything applicable. I apologize if this has been covered before.

Did you replace the whole hinge with the bolt on ones? if so just loosen the bolts on the door side and push/pull tighten and recheck.

I didn’t replace the whole hinge but that might be what I have to do. I just did pins, rollers, and springs.

a block of wood & a hammer can push that back in.. been there.. and a little bit of twisting by hand at the window frame can tweet that back into place...

I got the bottom pretty close but I’ve tried everything to get the top and it won’t budge ...

I’m prob going to scour the Pull-A-Part for a replacement. Fingers crossed ...

I even went as far as closing a 2x4 in the top of the door ... leaving it and coming back ...that mother won’t budge up top.

I've put my palm on the bottom of the window opening.. and pulled on the top corner of the door frame.. and was able to tweak it... as I didn't need much...

take the striker out and re-assess the fit. A striker does not fix a slight sag as you mentioned.
Your latch and striker will wear and the fit will get worse.
The striker is used to hold a properly fitting door closed.
Fit the door with the striker out then make the striker fit without moving the door.
It may or may not affect your issue at the top but the door and striker need to be right first.
If the top is still out a little it is an easy fix at the end.

The door closes and the body lines fit perfect after changing the pins and springs, it’s just the top of the door now ...

The door needs to fit the opening without the striker. The striker cannot move the door into proper alignment. This will cause excessive wear. The pictures show the door is not in alignment when it is closed, the door is low and it is out at the bottom which will cause the top to be in too far.
You need to determine if the door is in alignment with the opening with no striker influence. Once that is done the striker is set to fit the properly aligned door.
