No, I'm a dumbass and didn't attach the other pic. The thing that goes between the core support and bumper. It prevents air from going around the radiator. I just went back and added it to my last post.

Been driving the Envoy a lot lately and decided to poke around for a 6L80/90 swap again and accidentally found out a standalone now exists to run the thing off a carb if you want to.

http://www.zerogravityperformance.com/product-category/tcm-2650-mechatronic-transmission-controller/

So now I'm thinking 6L90 on this truck instead. $1,500 for the trans, $875 for the controller, but I'd need a t-case because it has a 29 spline output shaft. Same output as an Allison. Only question there is what t-cases fit and are there any issues controlling one and making 4lo play with a 411? If they all need a signal from a databus I'm screwed.

Well I had a damn good pace, but **** mechanical luck. Trans began shifting like crap at the end of practice and I had to alter my entire driving style. I slowly got my pace back for the final, but by then I'd killed the alternator without realizing it and showed up to grid 5th of 18 for the final and never finished because the car died. I can say with absolute certainty I had a 4th place finish in me with a possible 3rd based on the other variables.

Either way, the exhaust showed up for this turd. The muffler inlets initially concerned me, but after some dirty math it seems the holes contain double the surface area of an open pipe.

Initially I was gonna hole punch that ********, but decided against it after maths. The outlet appears to be a 3.5" internal hole, so not bad there either.

Lastly, the 2 piece Diamondeye tailpipe arrived so I just need some universal hangers to finish this off.

Well here's the whole mess, can't wait to slam it in. Gotta deal with the Camaro first, but see no reason why I can't do that and this in a day. Until I go to do it all and life happens. . .

Well exhaust didn't happen, but race car did. Gonna beat on it again this coming weekend. Pilot bearing was completely ****** off in the thing. Also did a new rear main and a fresh cut flywheel to go with my like new installed in 2014 clutch.

Finally put the exhaust in. Idle is deeper and a little louder, but still nice and quiet when driving. Also put in 4 new Bilstein 4600 shocks.

Also had to wrap my air line with some heat wrap as the tailpipe came pretty close. The tailpipe started life in 3 pieces and I used 1/2" diameter hangers but they wouldn't bend around the pipe. I think I'll have to torch them cherry red to bend them, then lay another bead down to hold it long term.

Hows the truck been running? Do you have the Whipple back on there yet?

Mine is 7 total with upper and lower overload.

I'm fairly certain the 3500SRW trucks used the same setup as the DRW ones. The heavy 3/4ton is basically the same without the upper overload.

I can verify more when i'm at home, and can look at the EPC. I think the only way to get more leaves than 7 was to get a Chassis Cab truck.

Reading the ***** thread now....

My SRW K3500 has 5 main leaves, a lower overload, but no upper overload. I've owned the truck since 1999 and 6000 miles.
