Started at $6k a few months ago. . .each subsequent add asks a lower price and admits more flaws. The first add described the best truck ever made. Now it utters the cursed phrase: "needs work".

I like the color and the claim of being rust free, but everything else. . .

Sad Craigslist stories, went and looked at the 93 RCLB-2dig-350 and tranny doesn’t shift from 1-2 unless you “let it catch”, also dashboard was brittle beyond repair, so while body and frame was near perfect and rust free, I couldn’t substantiate $1600 for a good body, crappy interior, crappy tranny and 350 with 290k miles and a knock, so I passed on it

Next Craigslist experience was the 94 ECSB-2 dig-350-auto, this one was a strong 350 with a slick rebuilt auto tranny, also clean dashboard and bucket seats and clean ext cab backseat with some cleaning work. Major issues were rockers and cab corners rusted beyond help. Tailgate sticker showed it was originally a New Hampshire truck. But for only $1500 maybe you could get comfortable....oh noooo, Guy selling it had a title from owner that had been “signed” over to a “mechanic” who “works” for the guy that was selling on CL.... so long story short the guy that wanted to collect cash had no way of legally transferring title, so passed on that one too
