Nothing revolutionary, just thought I would share. Every time I went over and kind of uneven surface that might flex the suspension and body, even slightly, my third door would squeak and creak. Since it sounded metal on metal to my ear, I sprayed white lithium grease into both the upper and lower latches, where they connect to the body and where the front door latches to the rear door. I also washed and de-greased the hinge pins and then greased those up as well.
Took the truck for a test drive and no more squeak! At least, for now, it's fixed.
Maybe this will help someone. After lubing all of my door hinges and latches, things just seem quieter in the interior.
