Calling back to the clear coat fading, the paint on my truck (01 1500) had been faded and basically gone in the roof and the clear coat had started to go on the hood by the time I started driving it about 6ish years ago. GM likes to cut corners in areas to give us their trucks. Paint and gaskets are just a couple that I've cursed them for

No kidding, they sure do cut corners, I've seen lots of truck with that cursed clear coat peel.

Spotted a Kodiak Cab 4 door with NBS dually pickup bed this morning on the road, I’ve seen quite a few of them over the years but today I noticed two things I hadn’t noticed before:
1) the rear axle is on massive air bag suspension
2) this one had a “Kodiak Pickup “ tailgate badge that seems to be custom specific to “Monroe Truck Equipment”

Also someone that works in my building has one of these parked a few spaces down from my Honda Accord, a Shelby Baja 700, had to google it also, 700hp geez...
