    I'm sure someone's done this before, but this is how I did it. Two 52mm gauges fit perfectly in the aftermarket radio delete compartment. Compartment from Crutchfield. Dual Gauge mount from VDO.

    Your evap core might look like this. I can't see light through any part of it. There is dirt down in the fins, and I doubt it would flow any air at all. I guess I could try to clean it, but the system has been open for who knows how long and a new core isn't that expensive

    I don't actually have a write up, but I would warn anyone that the plastic tabs are probably going to break. I have worked on a different 1990 truck interior and a 92 Camaro, and GM was really at a low point with regard to the quality of their interiors in the 1990s. Expect to break some plastic.

    Its a 1989 K3500 that was advertised as having 108k miles. I bought it based on pictures only for $1200. I think I got lied to and they have swapped out the odometer. Win some, lose some.

    Convert TH400 to manual transmission

    I have a 1989 k3500. It is 4x4 7.4L with TH400 mated to the transfer case. Will the NV4500 bolt to my transfer case? Will I need a different transfer case also? Has anyone one made a thread about swapping out TH400 for a manual?
