I purchased the only GMT400 I have ever owned on 1/22/2022: a 1999 Chevrolet K2500 Crew Cab.
My goal for the K2500 is to restore it mechanically to a like new condition, including installing a new GM Performance L31 HD engine, and personally rebuilding the 9.25" front axle, 9.5" semi-float rear axle, NP241C transfer case, and 4L80-E transmission.
I will also be restoring/replacing a lot of other components throughout the truck. I will be documenting a lot of the restoration in my build thread.
After I complete this build/restoration, I would like to build/restore a 2002-2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty with a 7.3L Power Stroke diesel.
