    I thought I had # 28 going on.. Sooo , it wasnt that? i changed the fluid and filter , no difference.....4 days later , i move the truck into the shop and its not under load anymore in park and shifts into all gears f/r no prob..... Drives and shifts better than it ever has. WTF? Oh...

    #28 happened to me yesterday.......I ONLY got 205K out of the thing.......oh well. I guess the mighty 4.3 was too much.

    Payload is the only suffrage here , as you're going from a full float to a semi float, thus putting the weight on the axleshaft , not the hub.... My.02.... Carry on , just watch the tongue weight/ trailer balance and you'll be fine

    Right at 1.5" , but the best thing was the gap from the top of the tire is exactly the same Front and rear. I'm picky about that kinda stuff:D

    Wheels and tires are on , tune up done... The 88 has air injection and the wires were routed carelessly. # of them were fried due to contact with the air rails. TAKE YOUR TIME routing the plug wires on these trucks. At any rate , too much rake for me, gonna shitcan the overloads and see where...

    So apparently while i was converting the A/C to 134a , the water pump **** the bed......That's done now , all i have left is a basic tune up, the new exhaust and the uca camber bolt kit
