  When you say "later" if you mean 1990-1994 style, yes, the door shell is compatible with no issue.. but not 100% sure if the inner door...

  Don't bother. The '88-89 door panels suck. I keep having to reinstall bits on WCJr as they fall off. I'd love to swap it to the later...

  BTW 1990-1994 is the style you're thinking of that is the grayish bezel with the rounded-edge switches. 1988-1989 are different...
