Does anyone have a pinout for the rheostat?
Here's the issue I'm running into:
My truck has no illumination of the instrument cluster.
The warning lights on the dash work
The gauges work
The dome light works from the rheostat
The HVAC lights work from the rheostat
The Parking Lights on the...
Replace the pins and bushings if you are in there doing the job. The bushing are the softer metal and prone to more obvious wear, but the pins also wear over time.
Did you change the master cylinder? I know some folks who convert to disc end up moving to the NBS master cylinder since they are designed to apply the correct pressure for a disc/disc setup vs the GMT400 master that are designed to apply pressure for a disc/drum setup.
I installed them on my old ram van - did a full suspension rebuild. The alignment and drive-ability was good. I like their grease boots - the quality seems good on them. Most, but not all of the threads and machining were good. I'd give them a 6/10 rating. I can't speak to longevity...
