New motor is already in as well as the tranny, haven’t run it just bolted it up then my buddy said the torque converter shouldn’t have been on the motor so tonight will separate the two and put it on the trans first

Nope bolted to the flexplate then put in trans so taking it apart tonight, haven’t run it or turned anything so hopefully still okay, I didn’t hear any pops or cracks of anything binding so maybe got lucky. Lesson learned

Found out I mated the trans and torque converter wrong and all that and could be bound up according to a guy I know so now have to try and pull them apart under the truck and make sure it’s okay

The hard fuel lines have a bracket on the back of the block that had to be undone and as soon as I did that, it lifted free. Daylight helps

Noticed my new spider injectors look a little different on my intake as opposed to that intake so moved it over. Also putting new gaskets and all that. Tomorrow put them together then back in and hope for the best

High school with a 350 small block thinking it was the coolest thing to sit on the wheel well and work on the carb right there

I appreciate it, I’ll keep you posted on what I find, it definitely isn’t as fun as working on my old 73 C10, a lot more wiring and sensors.

Stopped at about 12:30 last night, have to figure out what’s hanging it up, I found some metal fuel lines to the intake I had to disconnect but may have to pull them from the fuel filter and pull it with the block and tranny I guess. So close

I’ll try that first for sure thats definitely a good idea, was getting so mad yesterday sitting on top of the motor.
