Yes it is, bu Let's just say North of the century mark. Was over 6 grand on RPM's. I have resistors inline on transmission shift solenoids to boost line pressure as well. Still need to check torque converter. I am sure I hurt it. Started have shift issues afterwards, feels more like a torque...

Bent seval connecting rods, spun rod bearings, ovaled #8 cylinder bore, broken wrist pins, blew apart harmonic balancer, stretched the timing chain and screwed up the camshaft. Not to mention the head rework needed. Looking at almost 4k to rebuild the 454. Having a hard time spending that with a...

I use a 3500 psi pressure washer on the underside and in the engine compartment of my vehicles all the time. Never an issue. I also don't spray directly into or on sensors, computer, or alternator (usually cover alternator). If you use common sense it is not an issue. The underside gets soak...

Anything with an elactrical connection; sensors, ignition, computer, etc., theta is needing a signal will cause this issue. If is under the vehicle and the crank sensor is new and it didn't do it before, make sure the rubber boot on the plug (both wire side and terminal side) is still present...

Just hit a major roadblock on this build. The speed shop that I had gone to and paid quite a bit of money to for parts that are on order went out of business. No one can find the owner so the build is on hold until either I get my parts and/or am able to build the truck fund back up. I post more...

Like any build I have exceeded my build budget already. If I would have stayed with the flat top pistons, smaller cam, and used some of my reusable parts (valve train components, balancer, etc) I could have saved quite a bit. But I think it will be well worth it. I am still extremely cheaper...
