    Heated o2 conversion wiring

GM powered the HO2S off the same wire that powered the egr solenoid. It doesn't draw much power(400 milliamps iirc).

    2 door 2 wheel drive Tahoe, 20's?

I'm looking at getting a set of 20's to go on my 2 door 2 wheel drive Tahoe. I'm going to drop it 2 inches in front with a set of React spindles and 3.5" in back with Belltech springs. I've been reading posts for 2 days and cannot find a definitive answer. I'm looking at the Vision 142-2983GB20...

    Belltech Spindles

I did some looking and it looks like 3600 was for 88 only. Looked on rockauto and they list a different upper ball joint for 88 than they do other years, so it's probably a pitch difference in one of the tapered seats that is different.

Is a Redhead worth the price?

My redhead box lasted 18k miles when it failed sending metal through my whole steering system. Put it back together with a junkyard box I resealed and pulled my pump to reseal it so I could get the metal out of it, didn't pull my hydroboost, and ended up blowing up a pump from metal that was...

Any difference between early and late 2WD frames?

The idler arm changed from 92 to 93. 88-92 used the 2 bolt idler and idler arm bracket assembly where 93+ switched to the 3 bolt idler bracket assembly and separate idler arm. The 93+ style is much better IMHO. Not sure if the 88-92 will bolt up to a 93+.

Flex fuel L31 using the 0411

The only way I know to do flexfuel on a l31 is do a p59(green/blue plug) pcm swap and run an 05 operating system. 05 is the only year I know of where you can get a flexfuel tune and an l31 tune that are both the same operating system. I'm considering doing this myself. Unfortunately the 02...

    Lowering 2 door Tahoe

I've got a 99 2 door 2 wheel drive Tahoe, I'm tired of the rake that GM put in these, and I'm looking to lower it 2/4 to level it out. I know most say I'll regret it and want to go lower, but I want to keep this one useable to tow some, and get in and out of rougher roads. I'm going to be doing...

5 to 6 lug, wheel spacers?

Thank you very much. That look but leveled is what I want for my Tahoe. Thinking of going with a 255/60r18 since that seems like a common size.

Do you have a picture of yours? I'm trying to decide on tire size.

5 to 6 lug, wheel spacers?

I plan on doing the rear brakes like in this sticky. https://www.gmt400.com/threads/13-nbs-rear-disc-on-14-bolt-sf.1856/ I also plan on doing an LQ9/4L80E swap, so I'll already be doing driveline mods, but I knew about the 14 bolt using a 1350 where the 10 bolt uses an s44. Now to start...

5 to 6 lug, wheel spacers?

Thank you, that's the confirmation I was looking for. I also like the look of those rims, that's the set I want to run. I also want to run big brakes using off the shelf parts, and a 6 lug swap will make that possible. For the rear it's a set of spacers like shown here in this forum, and I've...

5 to 6 lug, wheel spacers?

That's what I'm doing. Up front I know it's just rotors. I located a c2500 6 lug rear, but then I'm stuck looking for 6 lug rims to work with the narrow 2 wheel drive rear axle. I can get the 4x4 9.5" axle easier and cheaper than the 4x2 version, and I like the look of the stock Chevy 18's. I...

5 to 6 lug, wheel spacers?

I searched and could not find a definitive answer to this. I have a 99 4x2 Tahoe that I plan on swapping a 14 bolt 9.5" SF under. I also want to use late model 18"GM wheels. From what I've found 5 lugs have 4.5" backspacing, but late model wheels are roughly 6" BS. If my math is correct, I will...

    GMT400 Speedometer Calibration

1st I would look and see if they installed a speedometer correction box between the PCM and cluster. You can calibrate it via tuning, but some do it with a module that corrects the PCM's output so it gives the speedo the required pulses per mile. Wouldn't want you to spend the money on a tune...
