    96 C3500 CCLB lowered 454 Dually project........

Thanks, The only real update to come is actually installing the 411 PCM that I've had in hand but have been procrastinating about for years. I didn't consider the OBDII style gauge.

2" spacer under the bearing. There are also 4° shims for the rear saddles as well. Link is the instructions. Parts list on page 2 of the pdf. https://www.belltech.com/extras/docs/BBGC/6926.pdf

No vibration. The Belltech kit had a driveline spacer to go under the carrier bearing to correct the driveline angle.

'96 C3500 CCLB dually. How much is too much?

I was referring to both trucks pulling our race trailer not the toy hauler. Around 9k. Was downright scary if the wind was blowing or if you had to panic stop. Dodge went to rear coils in 2009. I have Air Lift helper bags inside the coils. 2011 still had the 545RFE 5 speed trans. 9.25 rear...

'96 C3500 CCLB dually. How much is too much?

Thanks for your response. We lowered the truck ourselves. I have confidence in how the truck is lowered so don't think that the lowering of the truck is any concern. I've previously towed a race trailer grossing around 9k with it in it's current configuration but after researching the past few...

For anyone that has converted a 454 to electric fans when doing the 411 swap, what did you use? Searching for the best fitting and performing fan assembly. Thanks for any help.

Little more power for my '96 454 dually...

You know which JBA's you ended up with. There are way to many choices.

Little more power for my '96 454 dually...

I'm thinking about adding the headers to mine also. I looked at the CAI's but the more I read it seemed that upgrading the filter (have AEM ordered) did about the same. What has your experience with the Volant been?

Little more power for my '96 454 dually...

Alright. Diving in on the 411. Have a guy that works with me that is much more of a wiring guy that I am to do the pin out. Have tuning appointment on 10/15 with a very well know local (sort of) tuner. Guess we'll see how it goes.

Little more power for my '96 454 dually...

Thanks! I love them. Never did hook up the heat portion but did do the power and the turn signals. They've been on the truck for 6 years.

Little more power for my '96 454 dually...

Thankfully the dually is reserved for towing and cruising around. Have a Hemi Ram for the daily. Whether I do it or I get someone to do it I'm determined to get it done. Few other things on the list like a extra trans cooler and such in prep for the new toy hauler's arrival in December.
