I'm trying to remove the antenna on my 1996 Yukon, but the nut is being difficult. I've tried placing a slotted screwdriver in a notch and tapping with a hammer, but not luck. All I got was a chipped edge on the retaining nut.
What size Lisle antenna socket is needed on these trucks? I don't...

In an attempt to help someone else who stumbles across this post, here's the torque specs from a 1998 5.0/5.7:
Oil Pan studs: 53 lb-in
Oil Pan bolts: 106 lb-in
Oil pan corner nuts: 18 lb-ft
I attached the section from the manual on this site.
I was installing a new Felpro oil pan gasket on my 1996 5.7 Yukon and when I installed the rear stud into the Rear Main Seal housing, I cracked the housing where the stud goes on the driver side.
I was following my Chilton guide which said to use 18 ft-lbs for oil pan nuts and bolts.... It...
Noticed the balancer goes past the seal... smh....
All good now.
Just waiting on the Permatex Ultra Black to cure. Didn’t catch the 24hr cure time on the package.... what’s the preferred gasket maker for this type of work?

For the crank snout, wipe a thin layer on there before installing the balancer? I’m guessing the ID of the balancer pushes the sealant back to create a seal. But doesn’t that cause a problem if the sealant...

Had to increase the power on the impact gun and go in several short bursts.

I have one from Harbor Freight. The bolts that connect to the balancer are too short to drive the center shaft against the crank bolt.
I started using the small cone on the tip but was getting nervous when wouldn't move.

Was going to replace the timing chain cover and I’m having a hard time removing the harmonic balancer.
Took a pic of the inside and found somebody used a gasket material previously. Look by the key.
1996 5.7 Vortec.
