Well I’m a farmer and I’ve heated up plenty of **** to get something in or out and haven’t ever had a problem. And what do you know it worked

Kinda hard to grease a red hot knuckle, it’s thin and I figured lube is lube. So we poured some right on the edge as we pressed it in figured maybe some got in there and helped

The problem ended up being cheap ball joints. I got them for like 5$ on rock auto and they flanges just bent making it look crooked. I bought a 30$ one to replace a damaged and it pressed right in. Both knuckles were clean and heated up with gear oil poured on while being pressed. I appreciate...

4x4 issue

I unscrewed the thermal actuator from my front dig, and put power to the unit, it extends out. This is the actuator I have

If I hit 4lo it clunks, then if I hit 4hi it clunks, but the light blinks constantly in both ranges, if I just hit 4hi it blinks and I only hear a click

So it seems like if I’m in neutral, and I hit 4lo I can hear it clunk, and the light blinks, but 4lo works, if I hit 4hi, nothing, but if I hit 4hi then 4lo then hit 4hi again it clunks and 4hi works but the light still blinks, how far should the actuator come out when given power? And should it...

High idle switch 6.5 diesel

I have a 6.5 diesel, I’ve seen people make high idle switches for them, but I guess they buy pins from gm(or used to) to plug the wire into the pcm. My question is, can I just make my own pin? Can I just basically push the wire in? Does anyone have a couple gm pins I can buy? I appreciate it
