So I'm up a wall here. 97 suburban and the sound keeps coming and going. Stereo remains on but the sound will not. Sometimes it'll go days without cutting off. Sometimes it will go a few minutes. Length of time they quit working varies from minutes to days as well. It did have an aftermarket...

Nv4500 differences?

Thanks guys. Ended up just going for a hd rebuild. Will be swapping motors later this year so decided it was worth it to just spend the money seeing as I'm gonna completely rebuild a 454 to go back in it. New one is supposed to handle almost 700ftlb and had a warranty so good deal all around...

Nv4500 differences?

Yeah I've driven Dodge and Jeep all my life. The hd won't work with Chevy cause different input and output shafts

Would I need to change out the input shaft and retainer clip and that as well? Sorry for so many questions. Just trying to get all information I can get so I make sure I'm confident in the choice

I'm honestly ok with losing the granny. The most I might pull is a horse trailer for the Amish neighbor every now and then or some supplies for the property. Is it pretty strictst forward for changing for the shave cylinders
