    Weird lighting issues

Sounds like it might be a ground issue, but there are also other things that it could be. I would check all fuses, ground connections, and bulbs first. You said that when you replaced the switch it worked fine for a while and then stopped perhaps the connection is loose? Also, I would take a...

    The Stupid Interior Questions Thread

It could be that the seats were replaced with cloth ones, the only thing that would be leather are just the seats themselves. There is RPO codes that state cloth Like RPO 128. Despite that, the color will be the same for either leather or cloth. Best of luck!

Where to run wires through firewall?

It is really thin maybe a little thicker than 18g, a cheap drill bit will get through it with no problem. The best location would be near the steering wheel since you can access much more space, just being careful not to clip any wires. I would not recommend the passenger side since its harder...

    Tbi question

The green and black o rings are supposed to seat on the fuel lines, there should be a little notch for them to seat if they dont fit then maybe they aren't the right ones. As for the white ones, I don't know either, I didn't use them for my rebuild, no leaks maybe I was just lucky haha.

    TBI 350 SWAP

Hi Bryan, I swapped my 4.3 tbi to a 350 TBI here is what I needed (I used a donor vehicle easiest and cheapest way for a swap) Radiator, hoses, upper radiator mounts and shroud v8 PROM or ECU (It's better if you swap the whole ECU instead) (Motor Harness are the same but it might be a little...

Where to run wires through firewall?

Why don't you want to drill a hole? If its about rust then just drill a hole, paint it, and add a rubber grommet. That's what I did. You could also remove the rubber boot around the steering column but it is kind of hard to do and it will not look well done. Another more difficult option would...

Need help installing a LMC 31-1371 RETAINER

The center trim piece should have two holes for the retainer, the diagram on LMC truck shows it facing the wrong way, the indent in the middle of the retainer pushes the vent up against the face of the trim. If you find those two little holes it should be pretty explanatory. Best of Luck

Putting A Chip In A TBI Truck

Thank you, the website was actually very helpful, from what I am understanding in the website the eprom type would be 2732A (V6) and the v8 one I have is also 2732A from the same year. So that should check out but, I am still getting that same code. Maybe I should just cover the SES with a...

Putting A Chip In A TBI Truck

Are you saying that it should match the service #? As I thought that they where specific, with usually the last two numbers changing with different ecms + chips.

Putting A Chip In A TBI Truck

I'm asking because I recently did an engine swap and according to my research I needed to change the v6 prom to the v8 that would match the new set up I added. But I think I might have to make a new thread as there is other things that factor in. I haven't found any threads except for this one...
