    Yeah there's definitely some play in the rag joint. Guess I'll see about doing that XJ joint swap

    A mechanic went over the truck and said everything in the suspension was fine, and it only has 55k miles (first owner was an old man). That's why I assumed the play wasn't due to worn suspension parts. I'll check that steering wheel tilt joint and rag joint.

    The steering in my 88 sierra has a TON of play, so I decided to adjust the steering box. The lock nut came loose but now the actual allen key adjuster WILL NOT budge. The truck's not even rusty. Any ideas? (Not my picture)

    Nice truck, sucks that you've had so many issues with it What's the difference between these square headlight 90's models and the one's with the rectangular headlights?
