who are the go to steering/suspension parts now?

100% agree with you, following that email I posted I said the exact same thing and didn't get a reply. I looked at it like "don't take my money then silly man" Edit: totally missed your other post about the lower joints,my bad!

Uppers only. (97 for reference though, can take a pic when I get home from work if you'd like)

who are the go to steering/suspension parts now?

I have the ball joints on my tahoe. Fabulous parts. The paint or whatever they use has is still perfect even after extremely salty roads all winter, and they are still stiff as the day I put them on last summer, including wheeling & racing usage

    Poppets!

I have no info to help with, except for the fact that when I do my mpfi upgrade/intake gaskets,I'll happily send you my poppets for research purposes if you'd like, free of charge.

    Electrical Upgrade? Just do it!

Big 3 is definitely worth it. I noticed a huge difference in my 97's general "performance" after doing it, especially since the original owner didn't do much in terms of keeping it from rusting,so all my ground points were crusty, after cleaning em up and running new cables & a new positive feed...

Need info on (97) vortec exhaust manifold flanges (downpipe flanges)

My bad,5.7,1997 one specifically,k1500 with the small headpipes

Need info on (97) vortec exhaust manifold flanges (downpipe flanges)

Howdy boys. If anyone has some stock manifolds handy, could you get me the measurements of the 3 bolt triangle flange that connects to the downpipes of the exhaust pipes on a vortec truck? Correctly working on redoing my exhaust, but the hoe is my daily and I don't have the time to break it all...

    Lets's talk Corrosion, a.k.a. Rust!

PA is especially good at free weight reduction/speed holes. Was great in highschool,my tahoe probably lost a second on my light-to-light time because of the road salt. Common event in my neck of the woods is to get 2 or 3 buddies a case of beer an air hammer and a grinder and clean a frame...

Hmu if that ends up happening lmao

Lifted 97 Tahoe, need a little more front lift.

Howdy y'all. Having some hard time understanding/ comprehending my options here. Other day I did shackle flip on my 97 hoe',my shackles turned out to lift it a little more than I realized and I figured cranking my t-bars another 1.5 inches would even my stance out and made me happy but it...

Adding Children's Car Seat Anchors. Any Advice?

Exactly what I do with my little boys car seat,we have been in quite a few slippery winter skids / panic stops lately and he has been perfectly safe. Exactly why I love the Tahoe.

NBS Front Brake Swap for OBS Trucks

This was basically done in the dodge ram caliper swap thread. I'll post my finished adapters and where they end up on my knuckles once I finish them. Basically just a billet of steel with the holes to mount the caliper bracket & caliper, and two 1/2" holes for grade 8 hardware, you need the rotor...

    6.5 down for the count

"worth it" is your call,if you could find heads cheap (treasure yard) you could probably knock it all down, hone n' ring it,and run it ,or you could also slap heads on and runnit. Depends on how much you care about it really,I'd consider how it was running for you before it overheated,if you...

    forged lower control arm

Got mine off eBay,didn't wanna have to screw around at the treasure yard with having to get the torsion bars out .. especially in pa

    Roll pans and spare tires

Could also grind off the winch aspect, grab yourself a plate and either drill & tap it or weld in a long enough piece of all-thread or 2 that goes through your lugnut holes on the rim,use those for retention. Makes roadside lifting/dropping kinda suck, but if you keep a jack with you behind the...
