    I did talk to my machine shop guy and he said he would magnaflux them whenever i show up if they are clean so we can find out. I haven't done anything with the truck just yet, Still farting around with ideas.

    my thoughts exactly. probably going in a and doing the injector update as well. and obviously update to the better intake gaskets.

    Good point about just getting a new head probably both sides while im at it. Really need to take the upper apart anyways either way and replacement cast iron heads from summit like stock are relatively cheap compared to a crate.

    Hi guys, Got a 00' k2500 ccsb 5.7L with 190000 miles on it. Ran ok but recently started stumbling on idle when in gear. Always wanted a little more balls out of this thing. Head gasket on passenger side is blown. That would explain my stumble. SOOOO the question is do I slap a head gasket on it...

    Opinions on 383 crate motors

    how has that Blueprint crate engine held up over the years? Considering them for my 00' 2500 CCSB. Wondering if this is a road i should go down.

    Decided to build a garage. Now the fun begins.

    I have about 15 of these in my 30x32 barn. They are amazing, cheap and so far have lasted 6+ years with no issues whatsoever.

    got mine installed. They all needed some mods and tweaking. worked well as soon as i was done. Only way i got a hold of him was messaging on facebook. He does not answer his contact form on his website.

    Finally a cabin air filter!!!

    worked very well. I have had no issues. I also haven't taken it apart so i dont really know how much its caught. Ive got it on the intake of my SXS though and it catches a ton of $hit.

    Rust prevention

    check out Blasters Surface shield. Lots of videos of guys using that VS fluid Film and all think its better. I usually use fluid film as I can get 5 gallon buckets for nothing.
