Blackbear is who I went with. 255 bucks and if u decide to do other upgrades you just send it back in and let them tune it to your latest mod.

Speedometer calibration

Hyper tech makes one as well. I'd just send the black box to black bear performance its cheaper plus they can adjust alot of things

Vortec 5.7l oil consumption.

Stole my words right outta my mouth. Its not like a replacement motor is 10 grand. Its a waste for me. I've got better things to do. But hey thats jus me.

How many quarts? (fluid questions)

I've done the donuts in parking lots!!! And mine came from a junkyard Tahoe. And no I didnt put the high dollar oil in it. It's still "POSI" everytime i decide to cut a cookie.

Quick question, I have a 1998 z71 drum brakes in the rear. I was wondering if a 1999 4 wheel drive half ton s rearend will bolt right up.? Looks the same. I didnt kno about the whole drum to disc

I had an extra one from another truck I sent. It sucks its labor day weekend and I dont have any patience. I'm really wanting to see what all the fuss is about. I will keep yall posted.
