    I'm not a fan of V-Bands unless they're being used on a turbo hot side. I really prefer the ball and socket style flanges for normal exhaust work. Especially given they allow a slight bit of adjustment on a 360* scale.

    While it's unfortunate you feel that way. I still feel it's correct to comment on this thread, questioning your research or viability in your statement, given how well Hydraulic fluid has worked in multiple applications. Given your initial post, which included just bluntness and opinion.

    That was a combination of defective torque converters and "rolled" hydraulic lip seals upon installation. Not all 8 speeds had that issue. The 2020 trucks received improved torque converters and revised seals.
