    To add the doors I'll have to cut my holes out. GM atleast used a dimple to start the drill.

    Doors removed not sure I'll be using these or not. They are powered vs roll up but they so heavy. I really need to decide race truck or retro mod this old boy

    Removed engine tranny tcase and cab from frame. Going to attempt to sell frame as a rolling chassis if not I'll strip it down more and take it to the wreckers. Still need the cab though for the inside wiring harness. Big different between a wt and sle.

    Took out front body mount boots out and raised front about 5 inch's. This looks like enough to get all engine tranny bolts.

    Taking my time got the harness out and lay. Once I move the 4.3 I'll get to unbolting this bad boy. And with nothing but free time on my hand think it time to really get going on this

    Taped everything and labeled and to try and keep it super easy I removed block as well.

    Removing the wiring harness from donor. The red and blue one ran the 4.3 the black one ran the 454. I'm sure the computers have a name I just don't that info.

    Ok everything stripped down one more time thru pressure washer to really clean things up. I did remove wiring harness as plan is to swap whole other harness over. As I'd rather not have to cut and spice.

    This is the bracket GM used to mount a 4.3 in these trucks. With it gone I can now mount normal 350 or in my case 454 motor mounts.

    So with the lower arms in place you can't excess the nuts very well. Hope this pic better shows what I ran into I am a parts changing mechanic and in over my head but that's the challenge wish me luck.
