    Long story short, It runs again. I bought an amazon front pump, cause I'm freaking tired of working on it. Fwiw, the gap was right about 3/16" Then on the maiden cruise, the DS front lugnuts backed off and I threw two of them out into the wild blue yonder. I'm so over this ****.

    I don't think this is related to my previous problem, (leak in torque converter), or the problem after that, (I mis-assembled the band while hunting for former leak). I did get to drive it for about 3 days, then it drops dead about a 1/2 mile from my house. At this rate I'm spending 50~60 bucks...

    Aaaahhhhhh!!!! It's fixed. I hooked the band back up and reassembled and reinstalled. Can't describe how good that first 1-2 shift felt. I have little puddles of ATF all over the shop and the truck is wet from the bellhousing to the tailgate, so tommorrow she gets a bath. Shop too. Next...

    I think it was .085 with the sonnax servo and shaft. Shaft length is near identical with the GM shaft I put back in. Did that in truck last time, and didn't feel like messing with it. Will have to get gaskets and re-assemble before I can recheck.
