    Hi all, I have a tahoe 96 5.7 with the 4L60E, last year I had a 2rd to 3rd 2-300rpm shift flare, I put in a corvette servo and it helped with the flare, but now when in 4th and light throttle it revs up and holds or looses speed until about 3-3500rpm then downshift to 3rd and moves fine again...

    Ok, after spending some more time looking for the keyless reciever, I think I found it, right beside the metal box to the right, there is a plastic box that looks real ****** to get to, google tells me it could be that one??? so I guess you have to unbolt the bracket that holds it, correct?

    Added extra oil to the transmission, I only had 1/4 of a quart but it did not change anything:-( I will get some more and see if it helps.     Thanks, I will try adding oil to the transmission, the weather is really bad here right now but will hopefully try this weekend. I still think that is does not necessarily needs to be the worn clutches, as the transmission does not flare beside the 2-3 shift at light throttle. Regards Morten

    Thanks for the replys. Extra oil in the transmission - I thought that was to solve flare if you had the problem under heavy throttle, bacause of the oil going to the back of the transmission? Is it also to help under light throttle? Regards Morten
